Dear Drury Greek Life Stakeholders,
The Greek Life office has handled the calculation and release of Greek GPA reports for eight years. After a generally lower Greek GPA report for Fall 2013, Drury Registrar Cindy Jones met with Greek staff. After close consideration, it was determined by the Registrar’s office that a miscalculation had occurred in the Fall 2013 GPA Report. We are proud to announce that, according to the Registrar’s revised report, the Fall 2013 all-Greek GPA is above general undergraduate GPA. Chapter GPAs are also higher than reported. The revised report can be viewed below.
We would like to emphasize that Fall 2013 is the only instance of GPA miscalculation that has occurred throughout the Greek Life office’s management of Greek GPA reports. The report was processed using a new system which will not be used in the future. We are alerting national offices and alumni councils of the discrepancy and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused by the initial report. To prevent further confusion, the Registrar’s office will be spearheading Greek GPA reports in the future.
We would like to thank Cindy Jones and the Registrar’s office for their diligence and attention to detail on this matter. Please contact the Greek Life Office in FSC 120 with any questions or concerns. As always, thank you for your continued support of our Greek programs and initiatives!
